ANODE
The single largest material component of the battery is Graphite. The softest twin of the hard diamond was born from the same mother, Carbon and has been the perfect anode material for Lithium-ion Batteries (Li-B) since its invention.
Graphite is the new gold, and its morphology allowed researchers to create anodes with a higher rate capability and energy density. The demand for graphite used as anode material in Li-B is set to increase by over 200% in the next four years.
Around 42% of all battery anode material is sourced from natural spherical graphite, 58% from synthetic graphite material. Graphite is the key ingredient for energy transition.

Anode Manufacturing Process
