Prabhakar has worked extensively for 27 years at the Ford Motor Co. in various senior roles such as Chief Engineer for Ford’s hybrid tech. He was the CEO of LG Chem Power Inc; the North American subsidiary of LG Chem. Prabhakar graduated from IIT Bombay and holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan. He was conferred with the Henry Ford Technology Award in 1991 for his work in electric vehicle powertrain development.
